Job description
We are a USDA / FDA Frozen Food Manufacturer and seeking a Production Supervisor for a food manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, GMP, HACCP, USDA/FDA, and company policies.
- Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve production issues.
Qualifications: Experience in Quality Control job role
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Experience in a food manufacturing plant. USDA processing plant is preferred
- Self-Starter with Strong organizational skills
- Flexible schedule with Ability to work some Saturdays or cover some second shift as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in cold production areas.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
