Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced RHC/FQHC Administrator to run our Rural Health Clinic facility. The ideal candidate will possess a very strong background in rural healthcare management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, smooth operations and growth.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the medical office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing and medical records management to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Oversee fully compliant HR policies and procedures, hiring, firing, and all labor matters in compliance with state and federal labor laws.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures that comply with DHCS and CMS standards and other regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and patient care quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient care delivery and operational workflows.
- Ensure proper documentation of medical records using Athena Health EHR.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, critical care practices, and industry trends to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or a related field; or extensive RHC or FQHC managerial experience.
- Proven experience in healthcare administration.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management, HIPAA compliance, regulatory standards, labor laws and healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Understanding of medical terminology and critical care practices is highly desirable.
