Part-time Card Production Operator responsible for processing an average of 10,000 Medi-Cal membership cards per day, troubleshooting card production equipment, performing quality checks, and working in a secure, high-volume production environment. This role supports the Claims Department by ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of initial and replacement Benefit Identification Cards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process an average of 10,000 membership cards per day in alignment with production expectations.

• Produce and mail initial and replacement plastic Benefit Identification Cards for enrolled Medi-Cal members.

• Operate card production equipment, including loading materials, downloading program files, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper function.

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

• Conduct continuous quality control checks to ensure accuracy, compliance with job specifications, and secure handling of all materials.

• Prepare completed cards for mailing and ensure all outgoing materials meet production and quality standards.

• Log, track, report, and securely destroy undeliverable cards in accordance with established procedures.

• Handle confidential data following established security protocols and departmental guidelines.

• Maintain organized workflows and complete all assignments on schedule with high-quality output.

• Collaborate with team members while also independently managing workload in a high-volume, secure production environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Ability to work in a secure, high-volume production environment.

• Experience operating automated inserting or card production equipment strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with PCs and standard applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and adjust settings as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring quality and accuracy.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the majority of the shift.
