WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build, train, and optimize AI/ML models-including LLMs and generative AI-for aerospace, geospatial, mission-mapping, or telemetry-driven analytics.

Analyze classified or sensitive datasets such as satellite imagery, spaceflight telemetry, mission simulation outputs, or GN&C system logs.

Develop algorithms to support predictive modeling, anomaly detection, mission planning, navigation modeling, or "future mapping" analytics.

Translate engineering and mission requirements into scalable data science solutions tailored to secure environments.

Design data ingestion pipelines and ML workflows for use within secure, on-premise, or cloud environments that meet federal security controls.

Work collaboratively with aerospace engineers, mission analysts, and security stakeholders to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.

Produce clear documentation and technical reports required for government audits, security reviews, and program deliverables.

Maintain strict adherence to clearance protocols, data-handling procedures, and secure facility guidelines.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Active U.S. Government Security Clearance required (Secret or Top Secret, based on project needs).

U.S. Citizenship required.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Proven experience with LLMs, AI/ML model development, prompt engineering, or generative AI tools.

Domain knowledge in aerospace analytics, satellite data, telemetry processing, GN&C models, mission simulations, or geospatial mapping.

Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy).

Understanding of mission lifecycle analytics, orbital mechanics, or space systems engineering (preferred).

Experience working within secure environments, adhering to government security policies, and managing controlled datasets.

Familiarity with cloud and MLOps tools (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-prem secure compute environments).

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a small-business team with high accountability and mission focus.
