Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Services Engineer located in San Jose, CA. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for providing field service support, including troubleshooting, technical support, and preventive maintenance. The engineer will also handle customer service tasks to ensure client satisfaction and effective resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
• Provide technical support and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Prepare service reports and documentation after each visit.
• Ensure timely and professional resolution of field service requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• Strong hands-on skills in mechanical assembly and system troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of either mechanical, electrical, or software systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
