Yard Associate / Lot Attendant – Full Time
Fortney Towing is hiring a full-time Yard Associate for our vehicle storage and towing operations.
This position primarily works outdoors and involves maintaining the vehicle yard, assisting with vehicle organization, supporting drivers and office staff, and learning equipment operations including forklift use.
Schedule- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full-time position
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Clean criminal background required
- Must be able to pass Live Scan fingerprint/background check
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs
- Willingness to learn forklift operation and yard equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around vehicles and heavy equipment
- Organize and maintain vehicle storage yard
- Assist with vehicle releases and inventory
- Move and position vehicles safely
- General yard cleanup and maintenance
- Assist with evidence and impound procedures as needed
- Support towing operators and office staff
Warehouse, equipment, or outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required.
