The Opportunity
Fortitude Family Office is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead and develop our operations team. This individual will play a critical role in managing day-to-day operational functions while building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team.
As a key member of the organization, you will partner closely with advisors and leadership to ensure operational excellence, improve processes, and support the firm’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the operations team, fostering accountability, growth, and a high-performance culture
- Oversee the end-to-end client account lifecycle, including account opening and maintenance at Charles Schwab
- Serve as the primary liaison between custodians and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of operational processes
- Review and approve client transactions, including wires, deposits, journals, and other cash movements
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of client and financial data through oversight of data entry, reconciliation, and auditing processes
- Identify, implement, and continuously improve operational workflows to increase efficiency and scalability
- Oversee and support account service requests initiated by advisors and clients
- Develop, document, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, capacity planning, and infrastructure to support firm growth
The Qualifications
- 10 years of operational experience within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or wealth management environment
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team, with a strong focus on coaching and development
- Demonstrated ability to lead processes, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion
- Strong leadership mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where adaptability is essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM and operational systems
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
