Countroom Cashier (BELL GARDENS, CA. 90201)

Overview

Do you enjoy counting money? Parkwest is looking a Countroom Cashier to assist in the operation of the Countroom and works closely with the Security Department regarding the drop box pull by performing the following duties either personally or through subordinate team members.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the accuracy and security of the counts in the Drop Box.

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

Performs Cage Chip runs to Satellite, Pavilion, Gold Room and Pai Gow windows.

Ensures that the security of the Countroom is maintained at all times.

Performs shredding when assigned by a Cage Supervisor.

Collects racks for the count at the beginning of the shift or as needed.

Monitors equipment needs of the Countroom and recommends repair or replacement as necessary.

Ensures that work area is maintained in a safe work environment.

Must be available to work any shift including weekends, holidays, on call and overtime when needed.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules
• Able to communicate clearly with team members.
• Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Able to work independently
• Able to work within a team environment

Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of one(1) year cash handling experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Banking or casino experience preferred but not required. Ability to use a 10-key adding machine.

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
