About The Job
Fortis Institute is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our faculty as an Instructor for our Medical Assisting program. Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a certificate of completion or a diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
- CMA, RMA, and/or CCMA certification
- Excellent skills in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communications.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, patient-facing.
- Prior postsecondary-related teaching experience is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
