We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of automotive equipment and systems within automotive shops all around the state. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of machinery and electrical systems. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on anutomotive equipment, including air compressor, automotive lift repair and install, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics involving low voltage, high voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading to identify faults and implement solutions.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future maintenance tasks.
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts and welding tools to perform repairs safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze system failures and develop effective repair strategies And job scheduling.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical information clearly to clients or team members and ensuring minimal downtime of critical systems.
Skills
- Extensive experience repairing automotive equipment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including working with schematics, blueprints, and electrical systems diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with compressor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of electrician practices, low voltage/high voltage systems, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Ability to operate equipment such as ammeters, ohmmeters, low voltage testers, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Field service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance in industrial settings.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with industrial maintenance expertise to perform equipment repair efficiently.
- Valid certifications, electrical systems or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
