Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, for a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Instructor. The instructor will deliver high-quality training to students pursuing HVAC certifications, guide hands-on learning experiences, and develop comprehensive and engaging curriculum. Responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons, assessing student performance, mentoring students, and ensuring a productive and safe learning environment. The instructor will also stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance the training program.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, with a strong understanding of installation, maintenance, and repair processes
- Relevant experience or skills in training, teaching, and providing instruction
- Experience in curriculum development and program planning
- Basic knowledge of plumbing as it relates to HVAC systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and support students
- Certifications relevant to HVAC and instruction are preferred
- A background in the skilled trades industry and prior classroom experience is a plus
