Role Description The Director of Admissions is a full-time, on-site role based at the FORTIS campus in Mobile, AL. This position leads and manages the admissions team, overseeing daily operations related to inquiry generation, student recruiting, and applicant follow-up. The Director establishes enrollment goals, develops and implements recruitment strategies, and monitors key performance indicators to ensure targets are met while maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and training admissions staff, ensuring timely and professional communication with prospective students, and collaborating with financial aid, academic, and student services teams to support a smooth onboarding experience. The Director of Admissions also participates in community outreach, represents the campus at events, and contributes to continuous improvement of admissions processes and student experience.

- Leadership experience in higher education or a related field, including supervising staff, mentoring team members, and managing performance.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to use data and CRM systems to track metrics, forecast enrollment, and make informed decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, management, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or prior admissions leadership experience is preferred.
