Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Admissions Advisor for our Norfolk, VA campus. The Admissions Advisor will guide prospective students through the admissions process, including program information, enrollment requirements, and career outcomes. Duties include engaging with prospective students, conducting interviews to assess suitability, fostering relationships with applicants, and supporting the admissions process to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. This is an on-site position that requires a positive, service-oriented approach to communications and collaboration with students and team members.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with prospective students and staff.
- Customer Service and relationship-building skills to assist and support applicants through the admissions process.
- Experience or aptitude in Student Recruiting and guiding individuals in making informed decisions about their education and careers.
- Training and mentoring skills to provide insights and support for prospective students as they transition into the institution.
- Sales experience or the ability to work towards enrollment goals systematically while maintaining ethical standards.
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
