Senior Admissions Advisor
Position Summary
The Senior Admissions Advisor serves as an experienced member of the Admissions team and plays a key role in supporting prospective students throughout the admissions and enrollment process. This position manages a high level of student interaction, provides guidance on complex admissions situations, supports enrollment goals, and serves as a resource and mentor to other Admissions team members.
The Senior Admissions Advisor is expected to demonstrate strong knowledge of institutional programs, admissions policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical recruitment practices while delivering an exceptional prospective student experience.
Due to the highly regulated nature of the education industry, phone calls and interviews with prospective students may be recorded and audited for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment.
- Conduct admissions interviews to understand student goals, assess program fit, and provide accurate information about programs and requirements.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students through timely follow-up, professional communication, and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain strong knowledge of institutional programs, admissions policies, requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure prospective students receive required disclosures and have the opportunity to meet with Financial Aid and tour the campus before enrollment.
- Review applications and required documentation to ensure students meet admissions and enrollment requirements.
- Manage an assigned prospective student pipeline and work toward established enrollment and performance goals.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to Admissions team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and guidance on complex applicant situations.
- Support the Director of Admissions with team initiatives, training, quality assurance, process improvements, and special projects.
- Participate in outreach activities, community events, presentations, and other recruitment initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with Financial Aid, Education, and other campus departments to support a smooth transition for students.
- Maintain accurate student records, follow institutional policies and compliance requirements, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree equal to or higher than the level of education offered at the campus, or equivalent relevant experience with required approval.
- Previous admissions, enrollment, sales, recruiting, higher education, or customer-facing experience; experience in career education is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve performance goals while maintaining high standards of ethics, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of admissions processes and the ability to handle complex applicant situations.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a high-volume prospective student pipeline.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when handling confidential student information.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment.
Work Schedule
Full-Time | Nonexempt | 40 hours per week - work hours may vary and will include 2 evenings per week and occasional weekends.

Salary : $28 - $30
