Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Medical Assisting . This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Chair. The primary responsibility will be to teach Pharm Tech Medical Assisting and, or Medical Billing & Coding courses ranging from clinical/lab procedures and techniques, medical records and insurance, office procedures, and medical terminology . The typical teaching load is two courses over a 6-week term/mod. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in related field
- Certification in Medical Assisting or Medical Billing & Coding
- At least three years of experience in related medical field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior teaching experience preferred
