Fortis College, Salt Lake City is seeking qualified Adjunct Instructors in our evening Dental Hygiene Associate Degree Program.
We are seeking candidates that are energetic, have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent clinical skills, great organizational and follow-up skills, ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others, and demonstrate initiative, dependability, reliability, and passionate about the discipline they teach.
Qualifications:
- Must be a dental hygienist who possesses a minimum of an Associate degree, Bachelors preferred
- Must have a current Dental Hygiene or Dental License or the ability to obtain one in Utah
- 4 years of full-time clinical experience
- Prior college teaching experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Clinic course preparation, presentation, development, course management, grading and evaluation
- Participate and support clinic or pre-clinic assignments
- Administer /observe local anesthesia
- Evaluate student performance on various Skill Evaluations and Competencies
- Weekly hours could be scheduled between 5:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Thursday and 1:00pm-7:00pm Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
