Fortis College in Houston is seeking an experienced Welding professional to join our team as a Part-Time Welding Instructor in our diploma program. Whether you have prior teaching experience or are a seasoned welder interested in sharing your skills, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on students preparing for careers in the skilled trades.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach hands-on welding skills and classroom instruction
  • Demonstrate industry techniques, safety practices, and best practices
  • Guide and evaluate student progress toward course objectives
  • Support students with academic guidance and skill development
  • Help prepare graduates for successful careers in the welding industry

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of recent welding experience within the past 10 years.
  • Strong technical knowledge and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Interest in mentoring and helping students succeed in the trades
