Fortis College in Houston is seeking an experienced Welding professional to join our team as a Part-Time Welding Instructor in our diploma program. Whether you have prior teaching experience or are a seasoned welder interested in sharing your skills, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on students preparing for careers in the skilled trades.
What You’ll Do
- Teach hands-on welding skills and classroom instruction
- Demonstrate industry techniques, safety practices, and best practices
- Guide and evaluate student progress toward course objectives
- Support students with academic guidance and skill development
- Help prepare graduates for successful careers in the welding industry
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of recent welding experience within the past 10 years.
- Strong technical knowledge and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Interest in mentoring and helping students succeed in the trades
