Survey Field Crew Instrument Man & Rod Man

Fortin, Leavy, Skiles, Inc. (FLS) is currently looking to fill 2 positions in our North Miami Beach, Florida office: a Survey Instrument Man and a Survey Rod Man.

We are currently seeking an experienced Survey Instrument Man who can operate survey total stations, GPS equipment and distos, record the survey data collected accurately and neatly in the field book and has a minimum of 1 year experience as a Survey Instrument Man.

We are also currently seeking an experienced Survey Rod Man to assist the Party Chief by carrying the equipment, holding the survey rod, hammering or drilling stakes and rebar, writing down field notes, taking pictures and 360 video, etc. and has a minimum of 1 year experience as a Survey Rod Man.

Fortin, Leavy, Skiles, Inc. (FLS) has been in business since 1983 and is still going strong. We have performed surveying and engineering services for thousands of shopping centers and malls, offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools, sports venues and rock quarries. We have also performed extensive work on over 300 condominium projects across the state.

We are looking for experienced candidates who are punctual, trustworthy, have a good work ethic, have neat handwriting, pay attention to details and follow instructions, speak and write fluent English, and can handle working outdoors performing labor intensive work at various construction sites or project locations in South Florida.

The survey field crew hours are 6:00am-4:00pm Mon.-Fri. Overtime paid!
