Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. As a Concrete Finisher/ Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on various concrete surfaces, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Duties
- Prepare and level surfaces for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and grading.
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, moving materials and equipment safely on-site.
- Conduct quality checks on finished work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete finishing processes and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with hardscape techniques and materials is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical documents.
- Experience with construction estimating is a plus.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the day.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
