Position OverviewThe Wealth Advisor serves as the primary relationship manager for a group of client households, providing ongoing financial planning, investment guidance, and strategic advice. This role is responsible for maintaining and deepening existing client relationships while helping clients navigate complex financial decisions across all stages of life.
Working closely with the firm’s financial planning and advisory teams, the Wealth Advisor leads client conversations, coordinates planning strategies, and ensures that each client receives clear, disciplined guidance aligned with their goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationships & Experience• Serve as the primary advisor for assigned client households, leading review meetings and maintaining consistent, proactive communication.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s goals, values, and financial priorities, building relationships grounded in trust and long-term partnership.
• Anticipate client needs and guide individuals and families through significant life and financial transitions such as retirement, business transitions, inheritance, or liquidity events.
• Provide thoughtful, clear guidance that helps clients navigate financial decisions with confidence.
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure a seamless and responsive client experience, including preparation for client meetings and timely follow-up on planning actions.
Financial Planning & Strategic Advice• Partner with the firm’s Financial Planning team to develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans aligned with each client’s long-term goals.
• Provide guidance across key planning areas including investment strategy, retirement planning, risk management, and cash flow planning.
• Analyze each client’s overall financial picture—including assets, liabilities, and tax considerations—to develop integrated planning recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients’ external professionals, including CPAs and attorneys, when appropriate to ensure financial strategies are coordinated.
• Monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments aligned with client objectives and evolving market conditions.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field required.
• 5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial planning required.
• Certified Financial Planner Designation preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong financial analysis and planning skills with the ability to evaluate complex client situations and develop thoughtful recommendations
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships with strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.

• Experience using a CRM such as RedTail, WealthBox, Salesforce and financial planning systems to maintain organized client records, track planning activities, and support a high level of client service.
Licensing Requirements• Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Minnesota Life and Health Insurance License required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Compensation & Benefits• Anticipated salary range, commensurate with experience, $90,000-145,000
