Job Description
As a Worker’s Comp RN Case Manager, you will manage a patient panel of injured workers in the Billings region. You will blend field visits, telephonic case management, and client relationship development to deliver exceptional return-to-work outcomes and expand regional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Case Management: Coordinate medical care, evaluate treatment plans, attend key physician appointments, and facilitate timely return-to-work strategies for injured workers.
- Client & Operational Support: Manage referral workflows, monitor case progression, maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation, and assist with quality assurance and billing reporting.
- Business Development & Relationship Building: Serve as the clinical face of Forthright in Billings by cultivating strong partnerships with insurance carriers, TPAs, attorneys, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Montana or Compact Registered Nurse license
- Experience: 3 years of nursing experience. Case Management experience preferred (Workers' Compensation, Utilization Review, Occupational Health, or Catastrophic Injury Management are ideal).
- Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification. Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, clear written/verbal communication, and proficiency with case management software and MS Office.
- Local Travel: Valid driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and access to reliable personal vehicle for occasional local travel
- Self Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage time effectively
