We’re hiring one Structural Engineer and are open to a range of experience levels — from 4 years to 15 years. This role is licensure-required (PE), and compensation will be tailored to the experience, licensure, and project leadership the successful candidate brings.

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of building, light-industrial, and public-works structures. Depending on experience, this role may lead design production across multiple concurrent projects, prepare and review calculations and construction documents, and coordinate with civil and other disciplines to deliver accurate, code-compliant, constructible designs — with growing opportunities for construction administration, client coordination, proposal development, and mentorship as you take on more ownership.
What You’ll Do

Perform structural design and analysis for building, light-industrial, and public-works structures

Prepare and review calculations, specifications, and construction documents

Coordinate with civil teams and other disciplines to deliver integrated, code-compliant designs

Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure quality and code compliance

Support construction administration, including review of shop drawings, response to RFIs, and site visits
Depending on experience, this role may also include:

Leading design production and execution across multiple active projects

Managing schedules and budgets to meet project deadlines

Assisting with proposal development and client coordination

Mentoring junior engineers and supporting team development

Serving as the primary client-facing technical lead on assigned projects

What We're Looking For
- Required: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil or Structural (Louisiana license, or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 4 years of experience in structural design (commercial, building, or industrial); candidates with 6 years and a track record of project leadership are especially encouraged to apply
- Strong background in hands-on structural design and project production
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (RAM, RISA, STAAD, or similar)
- Experience with Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Industrial or heavy manufacturing project experience
- Client-facing project experience
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others or grow into a leadership role
- Ability to obtain required site safety certifications, such as BOP or TWIC
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
