What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Delivery Driver position at Forte Opening Solutions?
Shift and Payrate
Start: 2am-3am, 8 to 10 hour days, small potential of a single overnight run, otherwise home daily
Payrate: $28-$32 per hour, based on experience and job duties
OT: 1.5x after 8 hours
General Duties
Perform pre and post trip inspection on 53' tractor trailer
Quality checks on finished product prior to delivery
Load, transport, and unload finished goods at customers instruction
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed
Keep the truck and work areas clean and organized
Adhere to DOT compliance and safety rules
Qualifications:Requirements
Class A CDL and valid DOT Medical Card
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Mostly bump-dock but will participate in deliveries by unloading to customers specifications as needed
In rare event of short route must be willing to assist in shipping or similar departments
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50lbs
Bend, twist, squat or stoop throughout the day
Sit for extended period of time
