Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Budget Analyst based in Fort Worth, TX. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining budgets to support the district's financial objectives. Daily tasks include reviewing financial statements, monitoring the budget process, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and supporting program management by providing critical financial insights. Additionally, the role involves developing reports and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Budget Analysis and a thorough understanding of the Budget Process
  • Strong Analytical Skills and experience working with Financial Statements
  • Knowledge and experience in Program Management to align financial activities with organizational goals
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration with leadership and teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
