What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Coordinator position at Fort Worth Auto Detail?
Front Office Coordinator — Fort Worth Auto Detail
Full-time · Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm · Salaried · Fort Worth, TX
The short version
We need someone to own the front of the shop. Right now our sales team is splitting time between selling and taking care of clients, and both deserve someone's full attention. This is the taking care of client side.
You'd be the first person every client sees and the first voice they hear. You keep the lobby sharp, the schedule tight, and the client informed from drop-off to pickup. This is not a sales job. It's a take-care-of-people job.
Who we are
Fort Worth Auto Detail does paint protection film, ceramic coatings, window tint, and paint correction. We're the only Gtechniq-certified shop in Fort Worth and ranked #3 of 442 certified installers in the country. We work on everything from the mom van to the Ferrari, and we charge accordingly. Our clients expect the experience to match the price. You're a big part of that experience.
What you'd actually do
Take care of clients
- Answer calls and texts, book and confirm appointments, handle reschedules
- Check clients in at drop-off and out at pickup, including payment
- Send progress and finished photos to clients while their car is with us
- Register warranties and keep client records current
- Follow up after pickup and ask for the review
Run the front of house
- Keep the lobby spotless. Coffee made, fridge stocked, snacks stocked, trash out.
- Check the mail, order supplies, order Friday team lunch
- Keep the schedule accurate so the shop knows what's coming in and when
Help us show the work
- Shoot short phone videos and photos of cars in the shop for social media
- You don't need to be a creator. You need to be comfortable pointing a phone at a nice car and hitting record.
Who this is for
- You like people and people like you. You can hold a conversation with anyone who walks through the door.
- You show up. On time every day.
- You're organized. Multiple cars, multiple clients, multiple phone calls, and nothing falls through the cracks.
- You like cars, or at least you're curious about them. You'll be around some very nice ones.
- You're comfortable with a computer, a phone, and learning our scheduling software.
- You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. You'll occasionally move client vehicles around the shop, and some of them cost more than a house.
No detailing or automotive experience required. We'll teach you what the services are and how to talk about them. What we can't teach is a good attitude and a good head on your shoulders.
