Job Overview
Fort Wayne Newspapers is seeking an experienced machine operator to set up, operate, and maintain machinery in its production department. The individual selected for this position will possess an eye for detail and good analytical skills. 37.5 hours per week. Varied hours between 6:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Training hours will be varied during the day shift.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines
- Select appropriate machine settings
- Check output for quality assurance
- Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs
- Contribute to team by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Follow safety precautions
- Train other staff on basic maintenance

Experience:
2-4 years of machine operator experience.
