Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Complete repair orders thoroughly and clearly, including parts used, labor performed, and time spent.
- Communicate with service advisors on vehicle status, recommended repairs, and expected completion times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area that meets shop and OSHA standards.
- Stay sharp through ongoing manufacturer and in-house training on the latest vehicle technology.
- Support and mentor apprentice technicians when needed.
Requirements
- ASE certification(s) preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or shop setting.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (brand-specific experience is a plus).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple repair orders efficiently.
- Own a set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership).
