PURPOSE

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to perform assigned duties
- Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
- Communicate and interact with students, schoolstaffand department personnel in a courteous caring manner, using good customer service skills.
- Load and transport prepared food items and supplies from the preparation high school to designed school sites in Nutrition Services’ vehicle; distribute food items and supplies to school site food personnel; assure distribution activitiescomply withsafety and sanitation requirement and HACCP standards.
- Assistwith food preparation and serving functions at receiving schools by setting up food lines as directed.
- Perform other deliveries, pick-upsand transport items as directed.
- Perform periodic vehicle safety inspections; reporting maintenance and repair needs to the Cafeteria Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all equipment includingtruckused in transport of food items.
- Maintainroutine records related to deliveries and assigned activities.
- PerformrelateddutiesasassignedbytheCafeteria Manager/Directortomeettheparticularneedsofthebuilding/unit.

- Working Conditions: School-based assignments with possible travel between buildings. Frequent Interactions with students with significant behavioral needs. May involve supporting students in crisis situations in accordance with FWCS guidelines.
