Full Job Description:
Perform a variety of duties including greeting/serving customers, operating POS system, receiving payments & maintaining cash drawers.
Details:
- Represent Fort Thompson Sporting Goods in excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
- Learn store products quickly and efficiently
- Answer phone to assist customers with questions/information
- Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Essential job functions may require basic math skills, understanding of currency, and the ability to read and comprehend
- Process layaways, returns, and exchanges
- Other duties to be assigned
Requirements
Experience:
Experience with POS systems is required.
Experience with customer service is required.
Job Skills:
Required abilities:
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience with different POS systems that can be translated into daily use
- Ability to quickly learn system processes for the POS systems
- Perform several tasks simultaneously and correctly.
- Effectively help customers.
Education:
High School Diploma is required
