Hybrid Cloud Architect

Responsibilities:
- Define current-state, target-state, and transition architectures for enterprise infrastructure and platforms.
- Lead architecture reviews for new solutions, infrastructure changes, modernization initiatives, and cloud migrations.
- Develop technology standards, reference architectures, roadmaps, and architecture decision records.
- Design and review hybrid architectures integrating on-premises environments with AWS.
- Provide architectural guidance across (list is not exhaustive):
- RHEL, Windows Server
- IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server
- WAN, LAN, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and network security
- Infrastructure security, identity, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
- Evaluate technology alternatives and provide recommendations based on risk, security, resiliency, performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Identify technical debt, lifecycle risks, single points of failure, and opportunities for modernization and simplification.
- Partner with application, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, database, middleware, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
