Role Description
Fort Scott Community College is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer for an on-site role located in Fort Scott, KS. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing injury prevention programs, providing care and rehabilitation for injured student-athletes, and assisting with strength and conditioning programs. This role also involves creating strategies for the prevention of injuries, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with coaching and medical staff to ensure athlete safety and well-being.
Qualifications
Current license from Kansas State Board of Healing Arts required
NATA certification, and current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required or obtained within 90 days of hire
Experience serving as an athletic trainer preferred
Valid driver’s license
$60,000 - $62,000 per year
Salary : $60,000 - $62,000
