Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in our facility. The Part-Time Janitorial Technician will perform a variety of janitorial tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize various areas of the facility, including restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces.
Trash Removal: Empty and dispose of trash receptacles and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal practices are followed.
Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed. Perform spot cleaning and maintenance of floors to keep them in a presentable condition.
Surface Wiping: Wipe down and disinfect surfaces such as desks, countertops, tables, and fixtures regularly.
Window Cleaning: Clean and maintain windows and glass surfaces to ensure they are free of smudges and dirt.
Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and in good working order.
Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed, keeping an inventory of janitorial materials and reporting when supplies need to be reordered
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, such as handling cleaning chemicals properly and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous janitorial or custodial experience not required to apply we will train you
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Ability to use basic cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position, the shift is 2 hours a day Monday to Friday 7 pm to 9 pm. The schedule may vary from time to time depending on the specific needs of the facility.

This work site is located on Okeechobee Rd in Fort Pierce, near Walmart.
