Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- A team player willing to support teachers and students.
- Current technology skills.
- Basic knowledge of desktop and laptop computers.
- Current working knowledge of learning lab operations.
- Strong oral, written and organizational skills.
- A willingness to learn.
- A genuine interest in students.

- Supervise students assigned to the Virtual Learning Lab.
- Monitor student attendance and ensure students are actively engaged in coursework.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment.
- Assist students with logging into online platforms and resolving basic technology issues.
- Monitor student progress and completion of assignments.
- Encourage students to stay on pace and meet course deadlines.
- Communicate concerns regarding attendance, behavior, or academic progress to counselors, teachers, and administrators.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, course progress, and student participation.
- Enforce school and district policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Build positive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations for behavior and productivity.
- Assist with flex attendance and teacher reports.
- Perform other appropriate duties as may be assigned by the principal.
