POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Slot Attendant/Technician is under the direction of the Slot Director. This position is accountable for ensuring operational efficiency through the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gaming devices. This role requires mechanical proficiency, strong math skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. The Slot Attendant/Technician may be required to step into the role of Slot Lead or Slot Attendant when necessary and perform other related duties as assigned.

- Provide exceptional guest service by embodying the We-Ko-Pa Way principles: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.
- Efficiently and accurately troubleshoot and repair gaming devices.
- Conduct installations, removals, configurations, and conversions of gaming devices.
- Perform preventative maintenance on gaming devices to maintain optimal functionality.
- Operate shop power tools and equipment proficiently.
- Ensuring the safety of yourself, team members, and guests is paramount. Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of equipment, is always mandatory.
- Maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies in the shop.
- Communicate effectively with Slot Management and fellow Slot Team members regarding slot machine status and other significant operational updates during shifts.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service and repairs for departmental records.
- Assist with shop inventory reporting as needed.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of slot floor procedures.
- Process and pay out hand pays and jackpots accurately and efficiently.
- Support Slot Management as required and assume the role of Slot Lead when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area before concluding shifts, if operational duties permit.
- Demonstrate proficiency in fundamental math skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and strong communication skills.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in all job responsibilities.
- The role involves physical activity, including pushing, pulling, and carrying items in excess of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must perform other duties as assigned.
- Must obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (Including extensive background check).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must pass a math test.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and demonstrate proficiency in operating shop power tools and equipment.
- Strong math skills.
- Must be able to push, pull, carry, and move items in excess of 50 lbs.
- Must possess exceptional organizational abilities and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Technical experience in slot operations is preferred.
