Position Overview
This dual-role position is primarily sales-focused, responsible for driving new memberships, fostering community connections, and supporting the overall member experience. Additionally, you'll provide private and semi-private training sessions to clients as scheduled, enhancing their experience and helping them reach their personal fitness goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Member Engagement (Primary Focus):
- Conduct sales consultations, facility tours, and follow-ups with leads.
- Consistently reach out to warm leads via text, call, and email to convert them to members.
- Guide prospects through membership options and onboarding.
- Maintain relationships with existing members to increase retention and upsell services.
- Act as an ambassador for Fort Fitness at internal and local community events.
Private Training:
- Design and deliver private or semi-private training sessions tailored to clients' goals and abilities.
- Assess client progress and adjust training programs accordingly.
- Offer support, education, and accountability to personal training clients.
Administrative & Team Support:
- Track and report on sales leads, conversions, and retention data.
- Assist in implementing member retention strategies, including regular check-ins.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gym environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Outgoing and personable with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable with phone calls, texts, and in-person conversations.
- Goal-driven and motivated by sales targets and incentives.
- Certified Personal Trainer (or pursuing certification).
- Experience in fitness sales, customer service, or personal training is a plus.
- Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
