JOB SUMMARY:
Front-End [33%]
Responsible for: Lead Cashiers [future] and Cashiers. Is directly responsible and accountable for the successful operations, maintenance and security of the Front-End Department. In accordance with FCFC policies, DL will interview, hire, train, and evaluate department staff. DL will also document, prepare corrective actions, and terminate staff in accordance with FCFC policies and procedures.
DL is responsible for developing and integrating staff in store and personnel policies/procedures, safety issues, job task requirements, and customer service.
DL is expected to model excellent customer service by implementing systems to promptly address all aspects of the checkout process, requests, credits, special orders, and questions concerning membership. DL should keep informed about membership issues and promote membership whenever possible.
DL must always practice established use and maintenance of equipment. DL must monitor equipment performance and arrange outside maintenance assistance as needed. DL is responsible for cleanliness in the department and its workspace.
DL must identify problems within F-E department and have the ability to either solve it or bring forth the problem with assistance from the Operations Lead.
DL is responsible for planning Front End meetings, and attending supervisory trainings, leadership team meetings, and any other meetings as directed by management.
DL must personally follow all health and safety regulations and store policies/procedures. DL is responsible for helping to enforce these throughout the store.
DL is expected to communicate clearly and respectfully to all staff. DL must develop teamwork within the department by maintaining a high level of two-way communication. DL must also work cooperatively with other departments to recognize our common goal of success for the whole store.

Job Summary: Applies price change batches with the direction of the Grocery Lead and/or General Manager. Maintains and assures accuracy of shelf tags and promotional signage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and assures accuracy of shelf tags and promotional signage by auditing scanning system for accuracy on a dept/item rotational basis.
Apply price change batches and print shelf tags as needed.
Print promotional signs as needed. Coordinate with Marketing Lead as needed.
Identify problems within the department and either solve them or bring the problem to the General Manager for resolution including system and POS problems.
Demonstrate excellent customer service both internally and externally.
Keep informed about membership issues and promote membership whenever possible.
Communicate clearly and respectfully to all staff. Work cooperatively with all departments recognizing our common goal of storewide success.
Other duties as assigned.
INTERACTION
Internal: Direct and frequent contact with Leadership Team, Dept Leads and Asst Leads, and GM
External: Contact with Members and Customers; POS vendor technical staff
