Fort Bend Women's Center's ThriftWise stores are looking for Receiving Associates to join our growing team. We currently have two full-time openings:
- Stafford, TX
- Richmond, TX

What You'll Do
As a Receiving Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring donated items move efficiently from the receiving area to the sales floor while providing outstanding customer service to our donors.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive and assist donors with donated items.
- Process, sort, and move merchandise from the receiving room to the sales floor.
- Price merchandise accurately.
- Stock and organize merchandise.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Meet daily productivity goals.
- Promote a positive donor experience and encourage online feedback.
- Follow and promote safe work practices with volunteers and community service workers.
- Support the Receiving Manager in fostering a positive team culture built on our core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Full-Time: 38–40 hours per week
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays, as needed.
- Store hours are 9:45 AM – 7:00 PM.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience but not a requirement
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and frequently bend, reach, and stoop.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
