SALARY RANGE: $25.00 hourly, 12 hours per week, evening hours
DURATION OF POSITIONS: August 4, 2025 - May 28, 2026

- Assist students with homework assignments and provide academic support in a variety of subjects.
- Help students in the library focus on learning skills, develop good homework and study habits, use appropriate learning strategies, and find resources for completing homework assignments.
- Demonstrate and assist students and parents with the use of homework help database.
- Reinforce learning concepts that are evident in homework assignments.
- Talk with caregivers and parents with homework strategies, study skills, and general academic support.
- Find and/or create handouts and learning materials that reinforce learning concepts when homework is complete.
- Prepare learning environment for students, assuring pens, pencils, paper, and other supplies are readily available.
- Track student attendance, parent participation; brief monthly narrative.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Education. (Current students in Education, BA or BS Degree with 75% or more degree completion will be considered.

- 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.
- Keyboarding skills; computer skills involving use of the Internet and database searching.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact easily with students, staff and the public.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift library materials up to 10 pounds.
- Position requires evening hours.
