- Performs all clerical duties for department.
- Answers telephone inquiries and/or routes to appropriate person.
- Provides information as requested and assists other employees, attorneys, and the public.
- Completes timesheets for payroll for all division employees.
- Orders and stock supplies
- Process incoming and interoffice mail.
- Notarize documents as needed.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years job related clerical experience
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Strong organizational skills; record keeping ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.
