Substitute teachers are responsible for providing meaningful and effective instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity in the students' educational experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are flexible and committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Follow the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure the students remain engaged and on track. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment. Provide meaningful instruction that aligns with the curriculum and the school's educational standards. Assist students with assignments and ensure they are on task. Communicate any issues or concerns with school leadership as needed. Uphold the mission and values of Fort Bend Christian Academy while interacting with students and faculty. Qualifications & Requirements: Must have at least 60 college credit hours from a recognized educational institution. A strong commitment to Christian values and integration of faith in the classroom. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs. Previous experience in education or working with children is preferred but not required.
