The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in supporting the fabrication shop as their primary focus, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time for production. This highly organized individual will manage material flow, inventory accuracy, and provide essential support to the fabrication team. In addition to fabrication, this role also oversees inventory for the maintenance department, assists with purchasing functions including Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requisitions, and supports inventory needs in the manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in Excel and data entry, and comfortable interpreting Bills of Materials (BOMs) to prepare material packages for manufacturing.
Duties
· Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to accurately pull and organize parts for production.
· Deliver materials to the appropriate personnel or workstation as directed.
· Receive incoming components and verify accuracy against purchase orders and specifications.
· Perform monthly inventory counts; maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
· Track and replenish items with minimum quantity thresholds; notify team of restocking needs.
· Maintain internal inventory database, ensuring proper part numbering and avoiding duplicates.
· Enter new inventory items and manage data updates within internal systems.
· Manage and file MTCs (Material Test Certificates) for raw materials.
· Organize and restock consumables for both the fabrication shop and field site teams.
· Ensure safety supplies are always available and properly stored.
· Support the Fabrication Shop Supervisor with material flow planning and task coordination.
· Ensure consistent inventory processes and responsibilities across fabrication, manufacturing, and maintenance operations.
· Manage and maintain inventory for the manufacturing plant and maintenance department.
· Work closely with the Purchasing team to assist with Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requisitions across all departments, including fabrication, office supplies, manufacturing, and maintenance.

Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred.
· Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to safely drive a forklift after training.
· 2 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, or manufacturing support roles.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry accuracy.
· Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials and technical drawings.
· Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
· Familiarity with inventory systems and part number management practices.
· Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
