What you’ll do
- Assist in daily farm operations, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Provide exceptional care for livestock, ensuring their health and well-being through proper feeding, handling, and monitoring.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, forklifts, and hand tools.
- Conduct routine repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Implement irrigation systems effectively to support crop growth.
- Utilize welding skills for equipment repairs as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm facilities.
Basic qualifications
- Strong physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating feed ratios or crop yields.
- Experience in operating and maintaining all types of farm equipment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in animal care practices.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment safely.
