What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician I (Kernersville Lake Park) position at Forsyth County (NC)?
Work Schedule:
March - November: Thursday - Saturday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
November - February: Wednesday & Thursday 8 hours per day

We are currently recruiting for this position, but candidate selected will start after July 1, 2026.

Ability to maintain order and ensure compliance with rules.
Ability to operate and care for power equipment and hand tools.

Ability to inspect and report needs for repairs.
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds.
A valid driver's license is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for the minimum requirements.Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cleaning restrooms and shelters
Mowing, mulching, weeding/spraying, blowing debris and leaves
Trash/litter pick-up
Rescue boat operation
Working with the public
Performing various projects using a variety of equipment including tractors, mowers and various handheld power tools.
Salary : $17 - $20
