Position Overview

Forsyth County is seeking qualified candidates for Project Manager I or Project Manager II within the Capital Project Management Department.

This position performs professional-level duties related to County projects, including planning, coordination, inspection, and project oversight. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee assigned County projects
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, developers, and internal departments
• Monitor budgets and project progress to ensure compliance with contracts
• Conduct inspections, field investigations, and project evaluations
• Lead pre-construction meetings and participate in final project walkthroughs
• Prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence
• Review materials and construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications

Minimum Qualifications

Project Manager I

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Two (2) years of experience in construction management and inspection, or related experience

Project Manager II

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in construction management and inspection, or related experience
• Master’s degree or professional certification preferred

Salary

• Project Manager I: $67,304 – $89,178 annually
• Project Manager II: $81,966 – $108,605 annually
