Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mulcher Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Mulcher and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the equipment on construction sites or agricultural settings. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment functionality, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Duties
- Operate heavy duty forestry mulcher.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations on construction sites or farms.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with farm machinery operations is a plus.
- Valid driving license mandatory.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to construction sites and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety and efficiency.
