Paralegal @ Awesome Central Connecticut firm - Growing firm

Looking for a person to guide a portion of a small but quickly growing litigation practice. This is a unique leadership position offering flexible hours. There are certainly some designated office hours and the ability to work from home on a flex schedule for the appropriate person. Some experience with litigation and scheduling required. The ability to track and calendar cases, discovery, and a general understanding of the Connecticut practice book and knowledge of common motion and litigation practice is a huge plus. Candidates must have an ability and willingness to talk to clients, the Courts, and excellent and superb organizational skills. Cases are simple, but provide twists and turns to keep them interesting. The position will be commensurate to the abilities of the applicant including all paralegal duties. with training opportunities for the right candidate. After the person settles in, the position will have staff paralegals for support and assistance providing flexibility, help, training, and redundancy for vacation and personal time. Looking for someone with experience and confidence in working with the courts, clients, and other attorneys. Problem solving skills are important. Ability to work quickly through case tasks is important. Managing attorney is very cognizant of reduced caseloads to improve work output and employee happiness.
