Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual with strong problem solving and people skills to join our team. As a Guest Services Associate at the Forrest Inn, you will be responsible for ensuring an above average guest experience, from handling check-ins, meeting guests needs, taking reservations, managing building operations for your shift, and more. This position is also responsible for assuring standards by assisting housekeeping with task management, laundry and simple lobby tidying. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness will contribute to a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and check them in, inform them of our services and assist them with any needs for their stay
- Clean and maintain common areas such as the lobby
- Manage housekeeping through daily operations
- Answer phones, take reservations, answer questions, etc.
- Some light filing
- Switching out and folding laundry
Not required, but can lead to higher pay and more hours: Online marketing, design work, staffing support, customer out reach, sewing, community relations, maintenance, etc.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Strong problem solving skills to handle anything that comes your way
- A high level of professionalism and ability to deal with people politely and accommodatingly
- Basic computer skills - typing, email, etc.

Hours vary based on need and availability, but we are happy to set a regular schedule with the right candidate. The office is open from 8am to 10pm 7 days a week, and shifts typically run 6 to 8 hours, but longer shifts are available as well. Right now we are looking to start with someone roughly 10 to 20 hours a week. We are seeking someone to become a part of a devoted team and will make adjustments for the right individual. Hours are flexible as long as communicated with management in advance.
Flexible days - open 7 days a week.
Pay is based on experience & raises are given.
Tips are also provided, as well as occasional staff lunches and other team benefits.
Time and a half on holidays
