What you’ll do
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize data analysis skills to monitor inventory levels and trends, providing insights for demand planning.
- Assist in the development of process improvement initiatives to streamline inventory management.
- Engage in materials handling, including stocking and organizing products within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move inventory as needed.
- Maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and assist with data collection for reporting purposes.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools.
- Intermediate skills with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with supply chain management and logistics processes a plus.
- Knowledge of financial analysis related to inventory control and pricing strategies.
- Understanding of procurement practices and supplier management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by warehouse tasks.
