Forms Surfaces designs and manufactures architectural products used in public spaces worldwide. We are looking for an experienced and talented Product Marketing Manager, Outdoor Products to join our team. The Product Marketing Manager, Outdoor Products (PMM, OP) collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, and Design & Development teams to follow new products through the development, launch, and promotional process. The PMM, OP coordinates new product launches, creates sales and customer support materials, establishes the foundation for go-to-market strategies, and maintains all product support assets throughout the life of each product. In a related focus of the role, the PMM, OP is also responsible for the development, production and support of company CEU courses.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert for all OP products through close collaboration with Product Management, Design & Development, and Engineering
- Gather and analyze internal sales data, external market data, industry standards, and customer requirements
- Work closely with Marketing team members to define the positioning for new products and coordinate product launches
- Collaborate with team members to create, audit, and maintain internal and external product presentations
- Create product training materials and presentations and conduct training sessions
- Create and maintain all product support documentation and related website content
- Coordinate development, production and support of continuing education programs
- Follow developments within the F S AP product arena to broaden understanding of F S product line in order to cross-contribute as necessary
- Work closely with our inside and outside sales teams to understand their needs and provide support
- Coordinate national and local events with appropriate stakeholders
- Adhere to a consistent voice and company brand standards in all product support and other communications
- Stay abreast of company-driven changes and communicate updates in a timely fashion
- Follow key industry trends, technologies, and cultural influences for inspiration on new product positioning and communication strategies
- Take on special projects, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 5-7 years of related work experience
- Prior experience driving and increasing business within a product segment and B2B environment
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams
- Exceptional time-management skills, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets and deadlines, and handle changing and competing responsibilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent work ethic with a results-oriented style
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A team player able to consistently perform at a high level
- Comfortable working across multiple company departments, locations and time zones
- Experience using Adobe InDesign & Illustrator
- Firm grasp of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Solidworks, Revit and/or other industry-related tools a plus
- Comfortable working in a Mac environment
