What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricates basic orthotic/prosthetic devices as instructed.
- Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on devices and tools.
- Tests devices for movement, alignment, and basic stability.
- Completes assigned work orders accurately and on time.
- Maintains organized, clean lab workspace.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Works in a professional office and laboratory setting. Regular use of standard office equipment and O&P lab tools (e.g., grinders, ovens, routers, hand/power tools). Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, dexterous hand use, standing, bending, and visual acuity (close, distance, color, depth perception).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of industrial or hands-on technical experience (machine shop, auto repair,
- etc.).
- Comfortable with tools and physical labor.
- Must be available during clinic operating hours and able to uphold policies with
- professionalism and fairness.
